Founder/Owner

"Hi everyone! My name is Ashley. I am a licensed speech-language pathologist, certified by the state of Florida and the American Speech-Language-Hearing Association (ASHA). I earned my undergraduate degree in Speech Pathology and Audiology from Richard Stockton College of NJ before pursuing my Master's degree at Nova Southeastern University. I have over 10 years of experience working with children from birth to 18 years old in settings such as home health, daycares, preschools, clinics, hospitals, and public/private schools.

I believe in building genuine connections with my clients, focusing on their interests and strengths to guide effective, compassionate therapy. My approach is child-led and play-based, addressing sensory, motor, and emotional needs. I am a neurodiversity affirming therapist and with that means I am continuously unlearning, learning, and continuing to grow through personal experiences and continuing education.

I am registered as a Natural Language Acquisition (NLA) trained clinician and use this framework to work with gestalt language processors. I also have years of experience in early intervention, suspected/childhood apraxia of speech, fluency disorders, auditory processing disorders, expressive and receptive language disorders, articulation/phonological disorders, social language differences, and Augmentative and Alternative Communication. I am also PROMPT trained clinician.

Fun fact: I’m from NJ and I love pizza. I’m a mama to a sweet little boy, and becoming a parent has deepened my empathy for families, making me a more mindful clinician. I’m honored to support families on their unique journeys. In my free time, I enjoy spending time with my husband and son, whether it’s taking walks, playing, enjoying the beach, or exploring St. Pete."

Abi Scribano
Speech Language-Pathologist
"Hi! My name is Abi. I am a speech language-pathologist and I grew up right here in St. Petersburg, Florida. I pursued her undergraduate degree in Communication Science and Disorders at Florida State University, where I began my journey into early intervention research. In my early years, worked as a Registered Behavior Technician, focusing on autistic children. This hands-on experience increased my interest in child language development and communication and pushed me to earn my graduate degree in Speech-Language Pathology from the University of South Carolina.

The best part of this job is helping children in their unique communication journeys. I believe in using a child-led and strength based approach to therapy in order to help a child achieve their goals. I have experience working with children from birth to 17 years old in schools, daycares, clinics, and hospitals.

In my free time, I enjoy reading, exercising, and spending time with friends, family, and my two cats. I love broadway musicals and I also love to sing!"

Hi! I am Jordan, an Occupational Therapist. I graduated from Eastern Kentucky University in 2012 with my Masters in Occupational Therapy. I am licensed by the state of Florida and I am certified through NBCOT. While I have experience working in various settings with diverse patient populations, my true passion lies in working with children, where I find the greatest joy and fulfillment.

I have completed numerous continuing education courses, including sensory integration, primitive reflexes, Handwriting Without Tears, visual-motor deficits, vestibular rehabilitation therapy (VRT), The Listening Program, and kinesiology for rock taping, among others. Recently, I've developed an interest in attending Masgutova Neurosensorimotor Reflex Integration (MNRI) courses. I have also recently completed Level A training in Dynamic Movement Intervention (DMI), a therapeutic approach designed to improve gross motor skills in children with motor delays.I am scheduled to complete Level B training by the end of summer 2025, further enhancing my ability to support your child's motor development and functional goals.

Lauren "Lulu" Metalski
Speech Language-Pathologist

Hi everyone! My name is Lauren, but everyone calls me LuLu. I am a licensed speech-language pathologist, certified by the state of Florida and the American Speech-Language-Hearing Association (ASHA). I'm originally from Kentucky, where I earned my undergraduate degree in Communication Sciences and Disorders at Murray State University and my Master's degree at the University of Louisville.

Although I've had the opportunity to work in a variety of settings and with different age groups, I've always loved working with children! I have over 8 years of experience as a school-based SLP, supporting children of all ages. I'm passionate about helping children communicate in ways that meet their unique needs. I believe in therapy that is play-based and meaningful to each child. I especially enjoy working with children who use Augmentative and Alternative Communication (AAC), but I also have experience with articulation and phonological disorders, expressive and receptive language disorders, social language differences, fluency disorders, and suspected or childhood apraxia of speech.

When I'm not working, I enjoy spending time with my husband and our dog, Gilbert! I love going to the beach, swimming, reading, and visiting my family. A fun fact about me: I lived in Hawaii for three years, where I spent lots of time surfing, hiking, and swimming in the ocean!
